Epic Return (maybe?) to Blogging
Well hello there,
Can you tell I've been busy? Picture me very very embarrassed right now. It has been brought to my attention that I have a blog, and that people actually care about my blog. Thank you so much for your concern and interest!
Aaaaaanyway, last time we were together I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out. So it has been awhile.
School has started. I started in 4 courses, but have slowly weened down to 2. I am disappointed about this. It means I will be working on my undergrad for many more years but I can't set myself up for failure by giving myself too much work.
Speaking of work, I work at Loblaws, in the Joe Fresh department. I love it. It is hard because we are understaffed, but my manager and sole coworker are lovely and make it very enjoyable.
I somehow survived a 48 hour work week in the summer! WHAT. I know. You can tell from that fact that I am doing extremely well. I only work 16 hours a week now because work on top of school is a lot to deal with.
Diet. So I gave up on the gluten free, dairy free, yummy free diet. Completely. I went to Boots and Hearts in August, which is a big country music festival in Oro-Medonte. Basically 5 days of camping. So I stopped the diet, because it was inconvenient and never really went back to it. I don't feel any different off the diet than I did on it. I mean, it probably did something in the beginning but now it doesn't seem to be helping. So I am ecstatic. I missed gluten and dairy like crazy.
As far as relationships go, I am single, but with potential. But that's all I have to say about that.
OH! And I turned 21! It was fun. My family came to visit and I got to babysit my dog for a week. It was great, life without Emmett is hard.
New to my life: Calorie counting. We're trying it out, seeing how it goes. (Side note, technically the goal is to lose weight, because I am not fond of the way I look, but with tracking what I eat I'm hoping to eat healthier, so we shall see).
Finances. I am paying for all Zeus expenses, my grocery bills, car expenses and anything "fun". Slowly getting more independent people!
That's all I've got for today, maybe you'll hear more from me more frequently, but I really cannot promise anything.
Thanks again for you concern and interest!!
